RE: Transition to Hanger Clinic
After 37 years in my beloved profession, it is time to close my clinical practice. This decision has been excruciating and I have held on for as long as I have because of you. I am honored that you have placed your trust in me for your care. I am inspired by your motivation and persistence, and I am honored to have been a part of your life. I could not have asked for a more fulfilling and rewarding career.
However, things change. The business climate has made it impossible for me as an owner of a small practice, to continue to provide the level of care that I pride myself on, and to provide you the care that you deserve.
Regardless, I am not retiring but moving on to broader horizons. In addition to consulting with Hanger Clinic, I will be working on new prosthetic materials and sensors to improve the comfort and fit of prosthetic devices. While I understand this work does not help you yet, I can only hope that by working at this level I will make your lives even easier and better in the future.
